Announcements and Upcoming Events:

Please come to the next HOA Meeting on Tuesday, March 9th at Green Gables Elementary School.  It is very important that as many people as possible attend this meeting.  We need a quorum to elect new officers, new board members, and make important decisions due to a poor showing at the annual meeting.  If you cannot attend, please print and complete this proxy and give it to someone who is attending to allow them to vote on your behalf and help ensure a quorum.  Help shape the community in which you live.

Neighborhood Watch: There have been a few recent incidents of burglary and suspicious behavior.  Learn how to keep your home safe!  Please visit our Neighborhood Watch Section to see helpful tips and more!

Redevelopment Application for the North Shore Golf Course Information. updated 01/17/10  New: Great News!!!  On January 7th the Hearing Examiner released his decision to all parties that the applicants request for rezone, site plan approval, and preliminary plat modifications be denied.  You can read the full decision here: Northshore January 2010 Hearing Examiner Decision.  Although this is a clear victory, it is not completely over yet.  Please read more at: http://savenetacoma.org/default.aspx.  We will send out updates as soon as we get a date when this will come before the Tacoma City Council for a final vote.  We will need as many people as possible in the council chambers to show our concern.

New Rules and Regulations were adopted by the board of directors during 2007 setting a reasonable and fair method to improve the enforcements of our covenants.  This is intended to provide protection to the neighborhood as a last resort means of motivation to those few homes that are clearly out of compliance and fail to respond to the normal friendly reminders.  Here you can find an explanation and the full process the board has adopted.

Coyote Information.  Please keep a close watch on your small pets.  As most of you know a family of coyotes makes their home between our green belts and Dash Point State Park.  These animals can often be seen and heard within the neighborhood.
