Stonebrook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes 10-8-01

Attendees:  Joel Chaplin, Teri Johnson, Mike Sullivan, Pat Robinson, Rick Dennison, Jeff Kurle, Mark Oswald

 

Next Meeting: 11/6 @ 7:00pm, Teri Johnson’s house

 

** Minutes read and approved.

 

** Treasurer’s report (Mark). We currently have $9,271 in the bank.  Mark presented budget proposals for 2002 with the homeowners dues increased to $200, $225, and $250 respectively.  Discussed what the new rate should be, and agreed that we will propose $250 for 2002.

 

** ACC (Doug). Nothing to report.

 

** Landscape Committee (Mike).  Mentioned that 47th is wrapped up and looks great.  Mike sent out maintenance request for proposals to FMC and H2O.  Mike is meeting with both companies on 10/9 to review requirements.  He will also ask them to mow the ponds one more time.

 

Old Business

** House on Hoyt.  Need to talk to the lawyer again on status of letter to homeowner.  Will send the homeowner of copy of the newsletter. 

 

** Surface water drainage across sidewalks.  Teri still checking on this.

 

New Business

** Discussed vandalism at the ponds and what we can do to deter this activity.  Discussed no trespassing signs posted at entryway and the ponds.

 

** Work party for burned house.  Pat suggested getting some folks together to fix up yard on burnt house.  Tentative date is 11/11.

 

** Annual Meeting.  Scheduled annual meeting for Monday, December 10th, 7:00 at Green Gables cafeteria.

 

** Newsletter.  Articles are coming in, Joel will send reminders out and try and get some drafts up on the website.
