Stonebrook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes 4-02-02

Attendees: Jeff Kurle (President), Teri Johnson (Treasurer), Mike Sullivan (Board Member and Landscape Committee Lead), Pat Robinson (Board Member), Brian Westberg (Security and Safety Committee), Doug Iverson (ACC Lead)Mark Oswald (Vice-President), John Junk (Landscape Committee member, Volunteer extraordinaire)

 

Next Meeting: Pond meeting is tentatively scheduled for 7:00 Tuesday,  April 16th ,at Rick Dennison’s house.  Next general meeting will be Monday May 6th, at Doug Iverson’s house at 7:00pm.

 

** Newsletter **

We brainstormed articles for the newsletter for issuance by end of April.  First round of articles are due by April 9th.

 

** Pond Landscaping **

Will have a meeting with Peter (before next meeting) to discuss current status and game plan.

 

** Security and Safety **

Brian has continued to try and contact the FW police department on continuing speeding issues on 47th.  He will also post letters on people’s doors informing them to leave their outside lamps on at night.  Brian is also pursuing having the radar trailer on 47th.  He also mentioned that there was an occurrence of 4 teenagers wandering the neighborhood pounding on doors.

** Treasurer’s Report **

Currently have $35,306 in the bank and is on top of homeowners who are outstanding.

 

** Architectural Control Committee **

One new submittal for a new deck was submitted and approved.

 

** Landscape Committee **

John Junk is coordinating new electrical panel for front entry.  John also talked to a Stonebrook homeowner who owns a lighting contracting company about new lighting for the entryway.  The homeowner suggested that 2 thirty foot poles are all that’s needed for the front entryway.  John will move forward and get pricing on the new poles and send information to the group.

 

** New Business **

Teri will call homeowner who coordinated neighborhood garage sale last year to see if we want to do the same this year.

 

Teri Johnson is pricing out storage units to store various items belonging to the association.  Estimated cost is around $32/month. 

 

Teri also mentioned that we need to have an accountant perform and audit on the association’s books.  Teri will pursue finding and auditor and getting pricing.
