Stonebrook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes 5-07-02

Attendees: Jeff Kurle (President), Teri Johnson (Treasurer), Mike Sullivan (Board Member and Landscape Committee Lead), Pat Robinson (Board Member), Doug Iverson (ACC Lead), Mark Oswald (Vice-President), John Junk (Landscape Committee member, Volunteer extraordinaire), Joel Chaplin (Secretary)

 

 

Kirk Westrick - ACC committee member, discussed his efforts to obtain speed bumps along 47th Avenue.  Will be attending City Council meeting in May 2002

 

John Junk - Discussion of pond landscaping and lighting.

- June/July completion date for lights.  Two light should be sufficient for area to be lighted.  Project cost will be approximately $8,100, light posts to be exposed aggregate concrete. 

- Irrigation, south pond heads need to be adjusted or replaced.  John will check out in near future.

- It was proposed to lock gate area around ponds for security and safety reasons.  John to purchase and expense locks.

 

** Treasurers Report ** - Terry Johnson

 

- Dues still owed: Quan $150 last year (2001) AND $250 (2002), Bailey $250 owed for 2002.

- bills, all are current.

- VISA, Board approved securing a credit card to help with the pond landscaping projects.

- Terry to look into securing a storage area for StoneBrook related gear.  Will report back to HOA on costs.

- Discussed upcoming "Garage Sale" Terry to volunteer her time to obtain signs for garage sale. Will also look into placing an ad in local newspapers.

 

** ACC **- Doug Iverson

 

- New ACC submittals total four new homeowner projects

1, fence  - Jim Neighbor

2, Rock Wall -

3, paint, Jeff and Sharon Norton

4, new home approved and started

-  Russ Mishka- barking dog complaint

- Two letters to be sent to homeowners that are out of "yard maintenance" compliance.

 

** Landscaping ** - Mike Sullivan, Mark Oswald, John Junk.

 

- Break in pond area irrigation to be checked out by Mike & John.

- Discussion to take place w/ H2O in regard to fixing future irrigation issues as well as additional pond cleaning and trimming.

- Meeting with architect, Peter next Monday the 13th at Green Gables.

- Mike to ask H2O to control Horse Tail week growth along common area of 47th Ave.
