** Block Watch program, presented by Kurt Schwan, Federal Way Police Officer

Meeting was held at Green Gable’s Library and the first hour was dedicated to Officer Schwan presenting details around implementing a Block Watch program, in addition to giving advice and details around security in general.  There were approximately 20 homeowners in attendance.

** Security **

- Speed Bumps

Brian updated status on speed bumps.  We are currently 4th on the list of installation, but we still need to have the public notices posted and the approval vote by homeowners in the area.  One thing that Officer Schwan stressed was to make sure that as many people as possible turn out for the vote, otherwise it could get undermined by people not living directly on the road voting them down.

** Pond Landscaping**

Progressing on track, should be completed sometime in October.

It was also decided that we should go ahead and spend the money now to fix the pump on the South pond to get the water moving in that area.  John mentioned that the cost should come in well under $1,000.

** Treasurer Report **

Current bank balance is $12,500.

** ACC **

Mark Oswald agreed to take on the role of ACC lead until a replacement can be found for Doug Iverson.

** Lighting **

Poles should be set this week for the entryway lighting.  Then the electrical work needs to be done.  Should be totally complete by end of October.

** New Business **
