** Meeting Minute Review **
Minutes for the 8.03.03 meeting were read and approved.
** Landscape Committee **
Ponds –
North pump has been repaired; great job John and Pat! The city also came in an dredged around the pump intake area. We discussed taking on some projects next year to work on the South Pond. Other projects that were discussed were the curbing repair around the islands and replant the islands in the Spring. Mike will get some quotes for this type of activity, Rick will also check with school to see if any students could take this on as a project. Teri will talk to John Junk on the curb repair.
Trail Repair –
Trail was graveled and drainage problem fixed.

Not a lot of activity this month. There is one fence project on 47th that have not had clearance.
** Treasurer Report **
Current bank balance is $ 9,490.84. Budget for 2004 will be reviewed at the October meeting.
** Old Business **
View Preservation Amendment -
Russell Rosengreen presented
status on the view proposal. View protection
wording went to the attorney last week for suggestions in wording, remedies,
etc. The attorney is checking for
loopholes and any other potential issues with the wording. Envelopes have been printed; after attorney
and board approval, the proposal will be delivered to all homeowners for them
to vote. More discussion took place
around different ways in which to communicate the contents of the proposal and the
need for everyone to vote. We agreed to
wait until we hear back from the attorney on the wording, and then discuss the
proposal during the annual meeting on November 11th. Votes on the amendment would then be due back
one week following the meeting. Russell

** New Business **
Truck and Trailer in
Trailer and truck have been on 329th for a long period of time, and causes a safety hazard at night as the street lights do not go up that far. Teri will stop by and talk to homeowner about moving it.
Annual Meeting –
A motion was moved and seconded to move the annual meeting to November 11th.
Newsletter –
We discussed getting the next newsletter out by October. Pat agreed to write the newsletter. Inputs need to be in to Pat by 10/15.
Christmas Lighting Contest –
Christmas lighting contest will be held again this year. Judging and party will be held at Tim Roberts’ house on December 14th. Teri will contact Todd Hauge to see if he is willing to run the contest and judging.
Letters –
Tim will put together a standard format for covenant violation letters.
Home Depot Credit Card -
Teri will investigate if we can get a credit card for the association to use
for repairs.
