Stonebrook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes 8-10-04

Attendees:  Teri Johnson (President), Mike Sullivan (Treasurer),  Rick Dennison (Board Member), Tim Roberts (Vice President), Mark Oswald (ACC Lead), Joel Chaplin (Secretary), Bob &Eloise Trout (ACC Committee members)

 

August meeting was an abbreviated meeting held at Teri Johnson’s house with a shortened agenda.

** North Pond Status

-         Discussed the situation with pump out on the North pond and various ideas on how to fix.  Mark Oswald took the action to work with John Junk and get the contact information for possible repair companies.  We will also talk to Bob Searcy to see if he is interested in helping.

 

** Treasurers Report

-         There is currently 1 homeowner with outstanding dues; letters will be issued.  We currently have $31,028.18 in the bank.

 

** Landscape Committee Report

-         All islands have been completed!

 

** ACC Report

-         Need to communicate to homeowners that paint swatches need to be larger in order to correctly judge the color.

 

** Safety Committee Report

-         No report this meeting.

 

 

** New Business

-         Discussed potential liability issues regarding ponds in the front yards of homeowners.  Teri Johnson took an action to call the city and our lawyer to inquire about homeowner association liability in the event of an accident.

-         Fall Newsletter.  Article ideas for the newsletter should be finalized by the October meeting.  Also discussed potential changes to the bylaws that should be discussed at the annual meeting in November; Teri Johnson will contact the lawyer to discuss

-         There have been issues with the disposal trucks running over the and breaking  the curb on Mark Oswald’s cul-de-sac.  Teri will call Waste Management and discuss the issue.

-         Discussed situation with replacing mailboxes on 47th.  All agreed that replacing the mailboxes is responsibility of homeowners and the association should not be involved.
