Stonebrook Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes 4-25-05

** Meeting Minute Review

-         Minutes from the March meeting were read and approved.

 

** Treasurers Report

-         We currently have $34,822.57 in the bank.  Three people have not paid their dues.

 

** Landscape Committee Report

-         Various landscape projects planned for the pond area was discussed.

 

** ACC Report

-         A submittal for an awning addition to a house on 49th was discussed.  It was agreed that the awning did not fit in with the look of the neighborhood.

 

** Old Business

-         Covenant Violation Fine Schedule.  Information regarding the pending fine schedule was sent out in the newsletter; further modifications are being incorporated to the fine schedule and fill be finalized through working with the association lawyer.

-         Center Pond.  Work is progressing on the center pond island.  Discussion also centered on improving/repairing the lighting around the island; Tim Roberts will work on this.

-         Garage Sale. The annual garage sale is Saturday, May 7th.

 

** New Business

-         Garage Sale. The annual neighborhood garage sale will be Saturday, May 7th.

-         Covenant Violations.  Discussed the need to send a letter to the house at the entryway regarding the boat in the driveway.

-         Roof Material Discussions.  The subject of roof material was brought up again by a homeowner who would like the association to consider alternate roof materials to cedar shake.  The wording of the covenants currently prohibits asphaltic roofing material.  The roofing material reviewed at the meeting was fiberglass, and further discussion was held related to if this type of material should be approved.  It was agreed that further research needed to be applied to this and that select association members should go out and view houses with this type of roofing to see how it looks.

-         Vandalism.  A suspicious vehicle has been seen in the area, in this case a older model orange dodge truck with a white canopy.
