As of Monday, February 11, 2008 dues for 34 homes have not been received yet. Liens are in place on 3 of the homes. We have $8,500.00 still due to come in on HOA dues.
The bank holding the foreclosure property has paid the HOA dues and this property is now current.
HOA dues need to be paid for the home For Sale on the corner of 47th and 329th, it is now pending with agent Kim Rose with Windermere. Agent and Escrow need to be contacted for collection of dues prior to recording. Robin Stanko will make that contact.
Reports from Committees:
**ACC (Mark Oswald, Kris Hare)
Kris Hare mentioned that a homeowner is requesting a gate to their property. She also brought up the request to have a newsletter go out to the Homeowners to remind them of the ACC approval process.
**Landscape Committee (Tim Roberts)
Tim Roberts checked on another landscape company. Their bid was 4 xs’s the current amount we pay with Mille. We motioned to stay with the current company.
**Web Site/NE Tacoma (Eric Elger)
Eric asked about the January’s minutes to update and upload to the website.
He also updated everyone on the Save NE Tacoma golf course issue. At this point the original deed states it’s a golf course and should remain one. There are no further developments at this time.
**Welcoming Committee (Sue Fuller and Alison Elgar)
Sue Fuller reported that there were no new neighbors. Chaplin’s home is now vacant.
**Neighborhood Watch (Holly Rose)
Holly talked about a video they watched at the last Neighborhood Watch meeting and emphasized that communication and calling 911 to report any and all suspicious activity is of up most importance. Any information related to the neighborhood watch can be found on the Stone Brook website at: www.stonebrook.net.
Old Business:
Update on possible installation of new street lights on 329th. Elizabeth has been in contact with Into Light to get an estimate on the cost of installing some lights. No decision as been made at this point.
Update on 5 mailboxes. Elizabeth updated everyone on a time frame when the new mailboxes would be installed, which would be sometime in late March. The mailboxes in question will be replacing the older ones located on 49th Pl SW, 3 off of 329th WA close to the following addresses: 5001, 4927 and 4809, and one located on 46th Ct SW.
Fence repair. We received 2 quotes for the fence repair on the North pond and motioned to get 2 more bids. Discussions were done on the next steps to be taken, and about wear and tear. It is obvious that no repair can be done to the fence running from the back of the North pond down to 329th Way without clearing out the debris and retaining wall pushed against it. The homeowners backing up on this fence need to be advised to remove their own debris from their yards before we go ahead with the fence repair. A motion was voted on and approved that a Certified letter will be sent out to all 3 homeowners and signed by the Board of Directors. The deadline for the cleanup of backyards will be March 31st.
New Business:
It was agreed that a newsletter would be put together for the upcoming events. Several of the parties in attendance will provide articles to Robin Stanko by the next meeting. These are the upcoming articles:
ACC Requests, Fence issue (Mark and Kris), Garage Sale and upcoming events (Robin), Save NE Tacoma (Eric), Neighborhood Watch (Holly), Advertising in the Newsletter, What’s important to you(Elizabeth). Robin Stanko agreed to put together the next newsletter if articles were received from the committee partiers.
Next meeting will be held on March 11th, 2008, at Holly Rose’s residence at 4630, 333rd Ct.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45pm
