Minutes from August Meeting

Tuesday August 10, 2010

Held at the home of Tim Robert’s

 

Attendance:

 

            PRESENT: Tim Roberts, Debra Cammack, George Fuller, Allan Crowder,

Debbie Grimm, Bryant Hitchcock, Cathy Olson, Patty Sullivan, Robin Stanko,

Allison Elgar

ABSENT: Carlos Daniels, Eric Elgar, Holly Rose

Call to Order:

            Tim called the meeting to order at 7:03pm

Reports from Officers

            Secretaries Report – Reading of the minutes was waived.

            Treasurer’s Report – Debra Cammack

·         August invoices mailed to 14 homeowners. Additional fines of $1500 for boat non-compliance

·         Received full payment; lien released on Kim/OK

·         Preparing two new liens for Kim/M&S and VanBuren for non-payment of dues

·         Taking picture of home owned by US Marshall and sending to government. Been sending monthly bill. Paid 2009 and 2010 without interest and non compliance fees

Reports from Committees

 

ACC  Bryant and Cathy

  • A spreadsheet has been created of approvals, pending and submissions
  • Elkgrove not as thick as Home Depot grade
  • One company gave Bryant quote and assured they had read covenants
  • Approx 30 homes have been reroofed with only half getting approval; 1 not in compliance
  • Attorney will write letter to those not in compliance
  • Bryant will request bids and contracts.
  • Robin will send registered letters to every homeowner reminding of ACC guidelines
  • Rewrite ACC on website to be consistent with covenants which are recorded
  • Two homes have non compliant For Sale and For Rent signs
  • New ACC requests:

  • Welcome Committee will deliver ACC guidelines upon moving in to insure new homeowners are informed
  • Welcomed Donna and Greg and three children. They confirmed they were aware of and received covenants

  • Bryant asked if signs can be posted for the City of Federal Way World Sand Sculpting Championships in September

Neighborhood Watch – Patty Sullivan

  • Neighborhood Night Out was great!

  • Allan gave Debra non compliant letters from neighborhood walk through

  • Tim will contact Carlos regarding picnic September 11th 4-7 pm
